He was found in the bathtub with the shower running? Seems like they know who did it and I think he died but I can't remember if they said why he did it? I thought it was a hired hit situation but when they talked about the suspect he sounded like a screwed up guy that may have ejoyed killing people.

Gary Krueger - murder of Mike Emert. Its not known the motive or his link to whomever may have hired him.

I don't think they've ever figured out the motive for his murder, but the investigation (as of 2016) was still considered open. I think law enforcement's prevailing theory was that Krueger was a hitman hired by someone to murder Mike.
