Liz’s face completely changed when Dan came on set. It’s like she knew Ariana was acting that way because she was scared. Look how Liz looks into that camera. She completely closes off. No laughter, forced smile. Ariana kept laughing and trying to fill the silence.

''Before Gillies storms off, those male actors seem to be trying to restore brevity in an uncomfortable situation. Which can be observed whenever you have an awkward silence amongst a group of people. Grande's behavior seems rather strange, almost purposely childish or 'cute' which can sometimes be observed when a women shows interest in an individual.(its possible she does this for the camera) Gillies' behavior is the one that stands out the most.
