Tony Dow and Steve Talbot--happened, but more gradually. Dude111 11-24-2019, 03:55 AM Yup I was gonna say BEAVER...... Man did his get deeper!!! Scrabjan1 11-24-2019, 04:10 PM The kid who played Ernie Douglas really had a voice change. I think they had an episode all about it. Some were lucky and it changed over the summer before the new season. stevea 11-24-2019, 04:59 PM Yeah Barry Livingston's voice did a lot of cracking. I'm betting the episode you're thinking about re voice change was a Brady Bunch episode. They made a big thing about Peter's voice cracking and changing, as part of their music group. They finally made use of the change in the song. Stepperry40 11-27-2019, 09:14 PM How older was Lumpy Frank Bank then Wally Tony Dow? Age difference and wasn't a regular right away could be why you didn't notice much of differance with Lumpy's voice. Was 3rd season that Eddie became a regular and even though Eddie was same age as Wally and his friends Ken Osmond is older by couple of years then them. stevea 11-28-2019, 08:23 AM Bank was born in 1942 and Osmond in 1943. Haskell was always portrayed as being in the same class as Wally (Dow was born in 1945), but there were two references to Lumpy being left back. One was within the first two seasons, and the last one was in soph. history, season 3. During a history test where Eddie and Lumpy tried to cheat, Mr. Gannon mentioned having been through WW 1 or 2 with Lumpy last year. Scrabjan1 11-28-2019, 09:19 AM As I recall Paul Peterson in Donna Reed grew up on TV with no voice change. He also didn’t seem to go through the awkward phase. Johnny Crawford didn’t have a voice change but in the last season of Rifleman they treated him like a girl. |
