Has anybody wondered how Goodtimes would have progressed if JJ did not have breakout and over shadowing other casts of show?

I would say with James and Florida as main character and star of show, the Goodtimes probably would have taken a more serious tone and tackle more daily life issues of times.

Probably Michael and Thelma would have gotten more time and storyline on the show. And maybe JJ as oldest child, a college student.

It's been a while since I've watched it but from what I've seen they did tackle enough issues during its run.
