This holiday season I have been noticing that there is now charity toy drives for teddy bears rather than toys and I haven't figured it out? Is it because teddy bears are in hot demand for police and hospitals and doctors to use to comfort young children are is this a new fad for charities to do now? It used to be that every holiday season before Christmas Toys For Tots would have toy drives and every mall would have a wish tree where you could pick a child and buy the toy that he/she wanted. And now that teddy bear donation drives being really hot for this holiday season are we seeing a new type of charity toy drive?

(I Think) Teddy Bears are simple and gives comfort...I must make a confession...I'll sleep with something similar to a teddy bear...a Jose Carioca Beanie Baby...

I also sleep with a Pape le Pew Beanie Baby as well...

It gives a child protection that things will be okay...they worry like adults as well...Teddy Bears give that, just like how Calvin has Hobbes the Tiger as a shield as well as a friend...I may have made-fun of my sister with a plush that had NO Feelings...but to a child...maybe that plush IS Real...like Hobbes....
