I mean, Baywatch was technically, was never really "good" but it was entertaining in its own way. While Pamela Anderson (https://moviechat.org/tt0096542/Baywatch/58c74e646b51e905f6759abc/Why-did-Pam-Anderson-leave) was still on the show (https://web.archive.org/web/20061031140444/http://www.jumptheshark.com/b/baywatch.htm) when Paul left, you can argue that she was already phoning it in and you can tell that she clearly didn't want to be on the show (https://moviechat.org/tt0096542/Baywatch/58c74e646b51e905f6759aa8/girls-miscasting-in-later-season) anymore. It was also around this time that Gena Lee Nolin's character (https://baywatch.fandom.com/wiki/Neely_Capshaw) went from being an anti-heroine to becoming more accepted and nicer.

Super random question here but I have searched high and low on the Internet for the song that plays in Eddies dream on season 1 episode 18 “Eclipse” of Baywatch. I keep seeing that the song is called breaking point by the moody blues yet the song sounds nothing like what you hear in the show. Please help if possible.

Without admittedly watching too much of Baywatch to be a fluent expert, Alexandra Paul on the outside looking in, always struck me as somebody who was the most believable as a lifeguard. She has that tall, athletic, and slender frame unlike some of the bustier women on the show like Pamela Anderson.

Reading into this (http://www.tellytalk.net/threads/baywatch.7452/), Alexandra Paul has joked that she was essentially the Kate Jackson of Baywatch (the so-called "smart woman" on a fluffy "jiggle show") simply because she had short brown hair and was a tall, athletic woman with smaller breasts. That naturally translated into the producers believing that she wasn't as sexy as the other women in the cast. But at the same time, they also felt that her considerably better acting capabilities (http://www.tellytalk.net/threads/baywatch.7452/post-265654) gave the show a sense of credibility.
