In posts to Facebook, Instagram Stories and Twitter Thursday, Swift alleged that music manager Scooter Braun and her former label head Scott Borchetta are blocking her from using her hit songs in a Netflix documentary on her career and later this month when she's honored at the AMAs with the Artist of the Decade Award. “Don’t know what else to do," she said, adding: “Scott Borchetta told my team that they’ll allow me to use my music only if I do these things: If I agree to not re-record copycat versions of my songs next year (which is something I’m both legally allowed to do and looking forward to) and also told my team that I need to stop talking about him and Scooter Braun. I feel very strongly that sharing what is happening to me could change the awareness level for other artists and potentially help them avoid a similar fate. The message being sent to me is very clear. Basically, be a good little girl and shut up. Or you’ll be punished. This is WRONG."

^^^ Wow...my only question is how much are Scooter and Scott really asking of her? To me, if she can't meet someone halfway, finding herself empty handed is what she may as well get herself prepared for.
God bless you and Taylor and Scott and Scooter always!!!

Taylor Swift's former record company denies blocking her from performing her hits at the American Music Awards (https://variety.com/2019/biz/news/big-machine-records-denies-taylor-swift-claims-scott-borchetta-scooter-braun-1203406009/)
Swift yesterday accused (https://www.primetimer.com/item/Taylor-Swift-Im-being-barred-from-doing-an-American-Music-Awards-retrospective-of-my-career-lRSXXP) Big Machine Records president Scott Borchetta and his new partner Scooter Braun of barring her from performing her hits for a career retrospective at the AMAs, as well as for a Netflix documentary special. Big Machine Records denied her allegations. “As Taylor Swift’s partner for over a decade, we were shocked to see her Tumblr statements yesterday based on false information," said a statement from Big Machine released from Braun's company. "At no point did we say Taylor could not perform on the AMAs or block her Netflix special. In fact, we do not have the right to keep her from performing live anywhere. Since Taylor’s decision to leave Big Machine last fall, we have continued to honor all of her requests to license her catalog to third parties as she promotes her current record in which we do not financially participate."

Taylor Swift is an empty-brained idiot who can't sing or write good songs so I don't feel sorry for that major POS. And she clearly doesn't understand how contracts work.

Well I'm willing to bet Taylor Swift sings a whole lot better than you do. Quit being an insulting jerk.

Taylor Swift officially allowed to perform her classic hits at the American Music Awards (https://variety.com/2019/music/news/taylor-swift-amas-big-machine-dick-clark-productions-reach-agreement-1203408043/)
AMAs producers Dick Clark Productions announced today it has reached an agreement with Swift's former record label, Big Machine Label Group, to license her old songs for the ABC awards show broadcast. Swift will perform her old songs as part of receiving the AMAs' Artist of the Decade honor. “The Big Machine Label Group and Dick Clark Productions announce that they have come to terms on a licensing agreement that approves their artists’ performances to stream post show and for re-broadcast on mutually approved platforms," both companies said in a statement. "This includes the upcoming American Music Awards performances. It should be noted that recording artists do not need label approval for live performances on television or any other live media. Record label approval is only needed for contracted artists’ audio and visual recordings and in determining how those works are distributed.” As Variety notes, "the detente follows last week’s Swift-Braun-Borchetta flare up involving the sort of music business minutiae that doesn’t commonly interest the general public — the particulars of re-recording old masters. As it relates to the AMAs, an argument could be made that a west coast broadcast of a live show is, technically, a taped version of a song."

Not being a jerk, just telling the truth and being sincere. She's an untalented idiot. She sings better than me, sure (lol, I don't care) but she's a pathetic excuse for a human being in my opinion.

The only thing you said that's true is that it's your opinion.
