Not sure if this is the proper place to post this but anyway.


While every year networks have their successful and not so successful programs apparently at that time NBC had too many flops at that time.

I don't know about all the shows that the network was carrying but I read about one called Supertrain which was supposed to have been their version of ABC's The Love Boat.

So what was going on those years? NBC ended up canceling Emergency though my understanding it was still good and it was NBC that wanted Norman Lear to keep Sanford & Son going as Sanford Arms and the producers of Chico & The Man to have continued the show and obviously they didn't succeed.
