Surprised they are only showing one Jeffersons Christmas episode. Thought they would have shown one each week during its regular scheduled time.

I’m also surprised that The Monkee’s Christmas episode isn’t airring at all. I hope they didn’t loose rights.

The actual name of METV's holiday programming block for this year is A Very Merry METV and I saw previews for it during Charlie's Angels and it looks great and I'm also shocked that METV is not showing The Monkees Christmas special this year. Possibly because the contract for the show has expired but at least the Christmas specials of The Ed Sullivan Show will be shown on METV this year. Wonder if they will add reruns of The Ed Sullivan Show next year?

I wish they'd keep some of their holiday programming permanently. The Bob Newhart and Mary Tyler Moore Shows were perfect on Metv. Laverne and Shirley would be a welcomed addition too.

I could do without some of their current programs(Mash, Hogan's Heroes, Perry Mason, Matlock)

I agree

Me TV’s Best Shows in my opinion currently are...
My Three Sons
Leave it To Beaver
The Flintstones
The Andy Griffith Show
Carol Burnett & Friends
The Three Stooges
The Brady Bunch
The Monkee’s
The Dick Van Dyke Show

Decades Network Best Shows currently are..
The Honeymooners
I Love Lucy
The Donna Reed Show
The Lucy Show
Family Affair
The Ed Sullivan Show
The Mary Tyler Moore Show
The Bob Newhart Show
Newhart
Laugh-In
Different Shows Every Weekend (Happy Days & Laverne & Shirley & The Many Loves Of Dobbie Gillis & Car 54, Where Are You? & The Brady Bunch Spinoffs and Etc.).

It would be nice if both channels can air each other’s programming. As of now I just have Me TV no Decades.

they do air each others programing occasionally-since ME TV and Decades are sister channels every once in a while one of ME TVs shows will be on Decades on its "weekend binge". In the past they've shown GOMER PYLE and MASH on Decades and they're both on ME TV and DICK VAN DYKE is on ME TV on Sundays and Decades on weeknights.

curious where is the 24th and 25th schedule? Yes read holiday episodes will air in regular timeslots but the ultimate classic "Christmas Flintstone" yes that is the episode name should air more than once! Btw my local new york metro WJLP Middletown, NJ which is my MeTV affiliate also airs a rockin local yule log pre-empting MeTV on the 24 at 9PM, at least that is what happened last year.

no, they didn't. I wish they would have though. That'd be REALLY funny-especially if it was with Curly or Shemp:lol:

You're thinking of the short "MALICE IN THE PALACE" (with Curly but I think it was remade with Shemp) where they dress as Santa Claus to sneak into a palace.

I think The Three Stooges had a Christmas short as well.

"He Cooked His Goose" from 1952 takes place during Christmas but they make little mention of it. There are some scenes with Moe decorating a tree and someone dresses up as Santa Claus as I recall.
