For any Gilligan fanatics such as myself, the music cues for all the reunion pictures are available on cdr from Ebay. I just got all three and to say they are fantastic is an understatement.
Presented in glorious mono and composed by Gerald Fried, these complete soundtracks actually make the movies seem, well let's be honest, better than they actually were!:D
I would hope that this collection of tracks indicates that the original series music may surface one day.

I'm also a big soundtracks fan. I have a few that are my all time faves, '50's Superman, Lost In Space & Wild Wild West and Mission Impossible. I'm very happy to say after years and years of waiting I finally was able to get the Wild Wild West soundtracks, wow, I'm in heaven when I listen to those esp. action music where West fought 5 guys at a time.
BUT, as for the soundtrack to the Gilligans Island movies yet, I can't say I can even remember them in the slightest. The actual Gilligan series I can think of their music, pretty good, nothing to shake me up though. But I can see buying the Gilligan series music but why the reunion movies? I guess my problem is I only saw the first reunion movie once when it was first on and have never seen any of the others nor that first once since. But I share your soundtrack mania to your favorite shows.

I'd rather have the original 60s series soundtracks.

I'd rather have the original 60s series soundtracks.
That would be ideal.
I'd even settle for an authentic re-recording, a-la The Beau Hunks' Little Rascals discs. As long as they extended that calming little South Sea island theme from the color seasons.. you know the one-- they guys from MST3K used to hum it occasionally
