NBC has set aside 90 minutes on Thursday, Jan. 30 to say goodbye to The Good Place after four seasons. The extended series finale, starting at 8:30 p.m., will be followed by Meyers hosting a post-show special featuring creator Michael Schur and stars Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto and D’Arcy Carden. NBC hasn't announced an exact length for the final episode. Meyers did something similiar following the series finale of another Michael Schur show, Parks and Recreation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqnI_zizaSI), in 2015. But in that case, Schur and the Parks and Rec cast visited Meyers' Late Night.

That's a long finale.

This is a show that I've never watched but have been meaning to do so. I'm going to have to start at the beginning and go from there.

That's a long finale.

For a second there, I thought NBC was going to bump The Good Place's finale episode to the length of the Cheers series finale (90 minutes), which would be unusual for a show with only four seasons, especially if all of them are abbreviated.
