"Chering Dreams"

Plot: Ally and Cher each have dreams about Marcy first date which is approaching.

Opening Tag
Int. Work Lounge
Sean is dring coffee and reading a magazine. Terri is doing the same. They are sitting at a table.
Terri: Have you ever noticed that her (showing him the magazine) boobs look different everytime you she her?
Sean: No. I haven't. I really don't pay attention.
Terri: That figures.
Sean: What's that supposed to mean?
Terri: Please!
Sean: OHHH!
Terri: Yeah.
Cher walks in. She puts her bag on a table near the door and hangs her coat on a rack. She heads to the counter where she gets a cup of coffee.
Sean: Hey Cher!
Terri: How was your day?
Cher: Hell. It was awful.
Cher heads to the table with coffee and sits.
Cher: (Cont'd) I got up late, the car wouldn't start, is spilled coffee all over myself, I also got stuck in a traffic jam. And I realized, hey, I forgot to put on a bra.
Sean: (reading the magazine, not looking up, just kind of saying it) I hate when that happens.
Cher and Terri slowly look at him. Sean looks up. He looks at them looking at him.
Sean: What?

Int. Work Lounge - Seconds Later
Cher, Terri, and Sean are sitting down and reading magazines. Ed West comes in. He looks angry. He stands by the door.
Terri: (Whispering) Oh, no.
Ed: Cher can I see you? (motions for her to come over)
Cher: You can't from right there? You really need new glasses.
Ed: Get over here!
Cher: (while moving to him) Okay, okay, okay!
Cher stands next to him now.
Ed: You're late again! You know what happens to me when people, especially you, are late.
Cher: Yeah. That vein on your forehead buldges out.
Ed: Cher!!!!
Cher: Come on, Mr. West. I wasn't even late. I've been in here for (looks at watch) an hour.
Terri: Yeah she has.
Ed: Do you think I'm stupid?
Cher: Is that a retorical question?
Sean and Terri start to giggle.
Ed: Shut up!
They stop.
Ed: (Cont'd) I saw you come in just a few minutes ago Ms. Rougester.
Cher: Come on. Give me a break. I had the worst day so far.
Sean: Yeah. She forgot to put a bra on.
Ed: I didn't want to just know that.
We hear a voice from the hallway.
Britney: Eddieeee.......Are you ready for your massage?
Britney comes in. She has on a french maid outfit on. It is black lace. She realizies that there are othgers in there and stops. Ed walks over to her, he looks upset.
Ed: (whispering) What are you doing? I told you to stay in my office!
Britney: I'm sorry, honey. I didn't think anyone was in here. You told me you were getting the whiped cream from the lounge and I just couldn't wait.
Ed: Go ahead. I'll be back in a second.
Ed turns around.
Britney:Okay.
Britney pinches his butt and leaves.
Ed: Cher, I'll let you off the hook this time, but next time, prepare for trouble.
Ed starts to leave.
Terri: Wait!
Ed stops walking and turns around. Terri runs to the refrigerator and pulls out whiped cream. She runs it to Ed and gives it to him.
Terri: You forgot this.
Ed: (mad, nervous) Thank you!
He slams the door and leaves. The audience is clapping so we can't hear this: Cher laughs and hugs Terri.

Scene Two
Int. Cher's House - Living Room
Eartha is sitting on the couch. She is reading some sort of magazine. Marcy comes in. She tosses her bookbag on the table and runs to Eartha.
Marcy: Eatha!
Eartha: (getting up) What, honey?
Marcy: You'll never guess what happened today!
Eartha:Well probably not since there are a million things that could have happened to you.
Marcy: Jason Barnes-Noble asked me to the Fall Dance! The hottest guy in all of Madison Junior High School asked ME to the dance! (saying it as it's unbelieveable) ME! Marcy Lynn Rougester. (discustingly) God that's an ugly name.
Eartha:Wow, honey! That's great! Sit down. Let's talk! (They sit) This is your first date isn't it?
Marcy:Yeah it is! I can't wait! Friday night! Only 3 more days!
Eartha: Hey I'm very excited for you but what about your parents? Don't they freak out when you talk about boys and dating?
Marcy: Yeah, and I don't see what's the big deal about dating! Maybe they only want me to go out with girls.
Eartha: (laughs) No. They just want to protect you. Make sure you're all right. Make sure you're not pregnant at 14.
They both laugh.
Marcy: I have a feeling that they might say yes!
CUT TO:

Scene Three
Int. Cher's House - Living Room - Later
Eartha, Cher, Marcy, Tilly, and Ally are standing together.
Tilly & Ally: NO!
Marcy: Come on Mom......and.....Mom. Please!?!?!? Why not?
Cher: Yeah. What's the big deal? I mean, she has to go out sometime. If not now, when?
Tilly: When she's 30!
Marcy: Come on! Be reasonable!
Cher: I let you go on your first date when you were 13.
Tilly: That's different.
Eartha: How?
Tilly: It just is.
Ally: I say we let her. I mean, how bad can it be?
Tilly: Alright but when she comes home pregnant, or with a black eye, or with some strange deisese from Indonisia, don't start blaming me!
FADE TO:

Scene Four
Int. Cher's Bedroom
Cher is sleeping. She begins to move around and moan, as though she's having a bad dream. The camera slowly moves in to Cher.

Scene Five
Int. Cher's House - Living Room
CHER'S DREAM
Cher is sitting on the couch. We hear a knock on the door. Cher gets up and gets it. It is a police man. Cher is speakin' in a country voice, along with the others in the family.
Cher: Can I help you? (gets a strange look on her face and holds her neck) (whispering) My voice.
Police: There's something wrong. You granddaughter is in the hospital. You better hurry.
Cher: Oh my God.
FADE TO:

Scene Six
Int. Hospital
Marcy is lying in bed. Cher and a doctor come in.
Doctor: She's in here.
Cher: Oh my God! What happened?
Doc: She got an Indonisian kissing Desiese. She could die within 24 hours.
Cher: Oh NO!!! Is this for sure?
Doc: Yep, she has it.
Cher: No, I mean dieing!
Doc: She has a 70% chance of dieing. And it's all your fault.
Cher: What!?
Marcy: It's all your fault!!! (gets out of bed)
Cher: (Backing away) No!
Tilly, Ally, and Eartha come in the room.
T&E&A: It's all your fault.
Cher is saying no, and all of the others are saying it over and over.
They back her into the corner and we:

Scene Seven
Int. Cher's Bedroom
Cher is moving and saying no. She is still sleeping though. Cher all og a sudden sits up, really fast.
Cher: (thinking to herself, but saying it) She's not going on that date anymore!

Scene Eight
Int. Ally's and Tilly's Bedroom
Tilly and Ally are sleeping. The cammera pans in on Ally. We then:

Scene Nine
Int. Tilly & Ally's Living Room
ALLY'S DREAM
Ally is sleeping on the couch. The front door swings open. It's Marcy. She looks as though she's nine months pregnant.
Marcy: MOM!
Ally gets up. She looks at her.
Ally: What happened? Eat to much for dinner?!!?
Marcy: I'm pregnant!
Ally: What? Oh my God! How did it happen?
Marcy gives her a look.
Ally: I know how, but when!
Marcy: Tonight!
Tilly comes from upstairs.
Ally: Tills, she's pregnant!
Tilly: (reaching the bottom of the stair) I know. Do you think I'm blind? It doesn't matter though. It's all your fault!
Ally: Huh?
Marcy: You let me go on the date! It's all your fault!
Cher and Eartha come in.
C&E: It's all your fault.
The same thing happens in chers dream and we:

Int. Bedroom
Ally is moving around and saying no. Tilly turns over and wakes her up.
Tilly: Get up! What's wrong?
Ally: She's not going on that date anymore!

Scene Eleven
Int. Ally's & Tilly's Living Room
Tilly is sitting on the couch. She is messing around with the camera. Ally comes from the upstairs.
Tilly: Is she ready yet?
Ally: Not yet. Tills...(heading to her quickly) I haven't told you this but I don't think she should go on this date.
Tilly: Why not? A few days ago you wanted her to go.
Ally: I had a dream.
Tilly: (Mocking her, saying it spiritually) I have a dream!
Ally: Stop!
Tilly: Sorry, Mrs. King.
Ally: She can't go. I won't let her. She'll get pregnant and it'll be all my fault!!
Tilly: Oh, stop it!
Cher comes in! She looks like she's in a hurry.
Tilly: Hey mom.
Cher: Did she leave yet?
Tilly: Who?
Cher: The Queen of England! Marcy you dumbass.
Tilly: Mom!
Cher: I'm sorry! (heads over to them, sits on a chair) I don't think she should go on this date or whatever it is. Dance. She'll get that Indonisian kissing disease!
Tilly: I was just making that stuff up. She won't really be pregnant or get a kissing disease. At least she better not!
Marcy comes down from the upstairs. She is in a beautiful seaquenced blue dress. Ally tilly and Cher all complement her.
Tilly: We have to get a picture.
Tilly snaps a pic of her. The doorbell rings. Marcy answers it. It is her date.
Jason: Ready to go.
Tilly: Wait!
Tilly gets a pic of them together.
Jason: I'll have her home by 11.
Ally: 10!
Cher: 9!
Tilly gives them looks and turns back to Jason.
Tilly: Make it 11:30.
Marcy: Thanks Mom!
Tilly: Sure honey. (kisses her on the cheek)
Jason: Well, see you later.
Everyone says bye. They head out the door.
Ally: Don't get pregnant.
They keep on going and tilly shuts the door and turns around and gives Ally a look.

Scene Twelve
Int. Living Room - That Night (11:30)
Tilly is reading a book. Marcy comes in and heads straight for the stairs.
Tilly: Wait up Honey.
Marcy stops and heads to the couch.
Marcy: Yeah?
Tilly: Aren't you going to tell your mother how the dance was?
Marcy: Which one.
Tilly laughs.
Marcy: Mom, do you mind if I just do it tomorrow? I'm kinda tired.
Tilly: Okay. Sure.
Marcy: Night mom (kisses her and heads up the stairs)
After about five seconds Tilly heads up the stairs. We now see her in the upstairs hallway. She opens the door to Marcy's room and:
Tilly: I just wanted to say...Oh my God.
We now see inside of the room. Jason is halfway in and out of her window. He is facing in though. Marcy is helping him get in. Marcy pushes him out and he yells as though he's falling down.
Marcy: (yelling out the window) Thanks for my purse. (turns around) Oh! Hi Mom.
Tilly: (calmly) Hello. You just pushed your boyfriend out of a 2 story window.
Marcy: (upset) I did, didn't I?
Tilly: I think so.
Marcy runs out of the bedroom.
Tilly: Boys and hormones. What a combination
She follows her out of the bedroom.

Int. Work Lounge
Ed is on the table, back up. He has his shirt off, with just shorts on. we see a hand put whiped cream on his back. The camera zooms out, and it's Britney in a bathing suit. She starts to rub that cream all over his back and neck.
Ed: Oh yeah. Right there!
This continues on for about 10 seconds. All of a sudden, we see a flash.
Adam: (holding a camera) This will be a perfect picture for the work bulliten board.
He starts to run out.
Britney: (chasing him) Get back here with that!
FREEZE FRAME
