(Ralph is shown drivign his bus. He picks up Ed.)
Ed: "What a day Ralph. I was working in the sewer and I heard the Veterans Day Parade marching above me. They were beating the drums and cymbals."
Ralph: "Yeah and I am picking at least some of them up right now."
(Some veterans arrive on the bus. Ralph & Ed salute them.)
Male Veteran: "Thank you gentlemen. What a honor it is to serve the USA."
(Crowd cheers.)
Ralph: "I couldn't agree more. If I was serving the USA, I would be just as good as you guys."
Ed: "Ralph, you would have failed the physical."
(Ralph elbows Ed.)
(Ralph drives off.)
Male Veteran: "It was sooo good to see the turnout today. I do hope that the USA doesn't get itself into another war ever again."
Ralph: "I agree. You guys are the real heroes of this country fighting those terrorists who want to destroy our way of life. That will never happen."
All (yell): "YEAH!"
Ralph: "I wish the USA and it's allies win the war on terror and Aghanistan since it has been going on for 18 years now."
Ed: "The troops need to be coming home and be with their friends and families."
Ralph: "You are right Norton."
Ed: "I did serve in a war once and I didn't like being shot at but I survived."
Ralph: "It is good that you and every veteran here and the ones that are still serving have survived. I wished there were more."
Male Veteran: "You two are real gentlemen."
Ralph: "The war veterans are the real heroes."
(They all sing a song about the war veterans being the real heroes. After that, the crowd cheers.)
(Jackie walks on stage. Crowd cheers.)
Jackie: "Thank you. Special thanks goes to the war veterans who are sitting in the first row here. They are the real heroes."
(Crowd cheers.)
Jackie: "GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!"
(Crowd cheers.)
