I'm a gay guy and of course I love The Golden Girls, always did. Never missed it in its original run and catch it in reruns all the time. Question is, do straight guys like this show in great numbers or is it mainly women and gay men that watch it now?

Since I wear three different GG or Betty White t-shirts all the time, I can only relay my own observations:

Men typically react with recognition and a smile at the sight of the GG, but I don't get the impression they are ardent fans who watch regularly. They are obviously very familiar with it though, and have a positive viewpoint.

Betty herself has commented in more than one interview that young people are now a big part of the fan base. That makes me smile. :)

I'm as straight as the day is long and I have always loved the show and am glad that all of the seasons are streaming on Hulu.
