As you know Barbie is celebrating her 60th birthday this year and what better way to celebrate Barbie's 60th birthday than researching some of the iconic Barbie doll commercials of the 90's and we shall begin right now
1. Totally Hair Barbie commercial,
In 1992 Barbie made history as having the longest hair ever with the Totally Hair Barbie doll and the commercial has an upbeat style to it and talks about the many hairstyles you can create with the doll. The commercial was the first to use the You Got Something Special slogan of the 90's
2. Bedtime Barbie Commercial,
1994 marked a milestone in Barbie doll history as Bedtime Barbie made her debut as the first soft bodied Barbie doll in history and the commercial for it was so cool with a little girl preparing for bed and snuggling off to dreamland with Bedtime Barbie
3. Teen Talk Barbie Commercial,
This commercial advertised Teen Talk Barbie who was known as the first talking Barbie made. Though Mattel had dabbled with making talking Barbie dolls in the 60's this doll also was removed from store shelves because of the phrase Math class is tough but the commercial is great
4. Dance And Twirl Barbie Commercial,
In 1994 Dance And Twirl Barbie made her debut as the first Barbie doll to dance by a remote control and had a wonderful commercial that showed that her stand could also be used by a Ken Doll too

This commercial advertised Gymnast Barbie who was the first Barbie doll to have a completely bend and move body and that alone makes this doll collectible. This commercial used the exact same melody as the Barbie Dough Kitchen playset commercial
2. Baywatch Barbie Commercial,
In 1995 Baywatch was a hugely popular show and to honor the show Baywatch Barbie was created. The commercial was very cool and featured Barbie trying to "save" her dolphin which came with the doll which made dolphin sounds,
3. Dentist Barbie Commercial,
In 1997 after becoming a doctor twice Barbie took a different route and began a dentist. With Dentist Barbie which had a wonderful commercial of the doll and her interactive dentist chair complete with adorable patient doll and this doll was real cool in my eyes,
