I've noticed on this TV and others, such as Gilligan's Island with the Howels, Mrs. Drysdale and Lovey like the things that the money buys, like jewlery, clothes, etc..... BUT the husbands like Mr. Drysdale and Thurston never want to buy anything and go crazy at thought of spending 5$! It seems the husbands just literally love the MONEY itself...the PAPER! lol

It makes sense that the wives like the things the money buys, but why are the men so obsessed with just the BILLS themselves if they are never going to buy anything?
