My mom and I saw The Flintstones on METV today and they showed the episode where Fred thinks he has inheirited money from his dead uncle and so he tries to get the money by spending the night in his uncle's house where Fred and Barney are in for the scare of their lives. Was this the first Halloween episode of The Flintstones or are there others?

Was from season 5 i believe, wasn't really a halloween episode as halloween is never mentioned, Part of MeTV's all day "scary episodes" day......there are many "scary" episodes of our favorite stoneage family, they could have just as easily reran the Alfred Brickrock episode or one of several featuring their later on neighbors "The Gruesomes" or even the "Bewitched" episode when Samantha and Darin guest star! With Elizabeth Montgomery providing her own voice!

The only official Flintstones holiday themed episode the ultimate classic "Flintstone Christmas" but only the original.
