Does anyone know if Archie and Edith were the first TV couple to share a bed on prime time?

No, the first TV couple to sleep in a double bed was Herman and Lilly Munster, if you can believe that(You would think that this, and kinkier bedroom habits were more appropriate for The Addams Family). Some other things I'd like to know about Caroll O'Connor & Jean Stapelton, is a previous appearence on some court show(possibly Perry Mason), and whether or not it was the first color sitcom to use those kinds of bright lighting, when others used film.

I cant remember if I ever saw an episode where Edith and Archie were in bed at the same time! (Ah man!!))

I know that the original poster will never see this, but the first couple to share a bed together on television was Mary Kay and Johnny.

I havent ever seen thier show buddy!
