I use this word for shows that are mostly for women...like how there's chick-flicks, why not chickcoms?

These are sitcoms that have mostly women that shows situations that they go through...shows like The Facts of Life, Designing Women, and even Caroline in the City.

What other shows are mostly about women going through scenarios that women may understand.

Also, the current comedy "Mom" is mostly about women in the AA support group.

"Sex and the City" for sure.

I would say One day at a time would be more geared to a female audience esp. in the early seasons , a divorced woman finding her way in the working world raising two daughters ! :) Unless the males watched to see Valerie Bertinelli!?;):eyes:
