I am so happy to have found this show on H&I TV and I DVR it every night. However, the closed captions kind of annoy me b/c not only do they silence any words that the station finds "offensive" they also put "XXXX" over whatever they don't want you to see in the closed captions. The weird thing is that in a Season 10 episode I was watching last night Sipowitz and Clark were discussing a person named Cochran or something like that and the station XXX'd out the first part of the name. I think you see where I'm going with this. I do love that the show is on TV again b/c I've been waiting for a long time but I just think it's weird that a station that shows mainly cop shows feels the need to edit so much. It's not a family station and it's on cable and plus they don't even show it till midnight. They show four episodes a day here from 12-5, so there's not really the risk of kids seeing it. Just really odd. They have blurred out the nudity as well. I'm not one for swearing and nudity anyway but in this case it's what made this show so groundbreaking.

H&I is an over-the-air station. It's a sister channel to MeTV & Decades. It's not a cable station, just FYI. It is available on some cable stations.

Oh okay, well that makes sense then. I should have known it wasn't a cable station b/c the first time I found it I was at a hotel. I got so excited that a station was finally showing NYPD Blue again.
