I had the pleasure of spending an evening with the classiest woman of classic television, as i booked Joyce as a interview guest in the early 1990s for a satellite comedy/talk show i produced and directed as well.

Joyce was so lovely and polite, and after spending a life in television production many are not....lol....She laughed with the programs' host, yet gave insight to all of the facets of the questions asked of her on camera.

I as a TV memorabilia collector would always bring on taping nights any items I owned related to the series guest.

Joyce graciously signed in silver sharpie paint pen her signature on a Hamilton Collection Honeymooners plate, which i treasure to this day.

Happy Birthday dear and wonderful Joyce Randolph and I hope you go to Sardees, one of her favorite eateries as she told on camera at the time she had recently lunched with Audrey Meadows.

As a sidenote, I actually still have and gave Joyce a VHS that evening a New York WPIX-TV Channel 11 Special with original commercials she hosted of two classic episodes that aired on February 2, 1976 at 7PM eastern in anticipation of the first ABC reunion special that ran at 8PM the same evening. I also have that with the original "Union Label" commercials, though I admit, the ABC special is quite watchable in quality and is available on commercial DVD, sadly the very rare Joyce Randolph Special in which she appeared in between commercials and served as host is still watchable but suffers from quality age, I did transfer the master self recorded 3/4 umatic tape to dvd about a decade ago as no matter the poor quality both specials represent as they originally aired from that Feb 2, 1976 evening.
