I made potato pancakes for dinner. I suggested my brother to put them on the grill to keep them warm.

My dad didn't care for that...but me, my brother, and my uncle liked them...how do I keep potato pancakes warm without an oven? Can I boil some water and have them be steamed?

What's your objection to keeping them in the oven on the lowest setting?

The oven doesn't work at my dad's...maybe I should get him a better stove. I may do that sometime since I know someone at a crisis center that may donate one to him.

Until you get the new oven, you could try steaming if you have a working stove top or a hot plate. That's the only thing I can think of except for maybe keeping them in a pan with a little oil on a very low setting if you want to keep them warm. Don't use the microwave! Your nice, fluffy potato pancakes will turn into hard, nasty frisbees!
