Has anyone found this for a better price? This is a 2 volume release of S1, at $37 per volume.

It appears CBS has decided to tap their old catalog, with this, and My Three Sons.

Rumor going around is that the episodes on the DVD's will be 22 minute, edited versions. If the rumor turns out to be true, then my one word of advice for these DVD's is: AVOID.

Too bad there's no way to find out for sure--no one seems to review DVDs anymore. I was just reading the info. on HTF (from 2017 and 2018), and CBS apparently remastered the syndication cuts a few years ago, probably for airing on MeTV. Someone said the possibilities are the network versions are "lost" (IMO meaning they won't take the time to locate them--they only do that for shows like Lucy), or they took the quick way out when MeTV wanted them, and mastered the syndies only.

If they are the syndicated versions (which seems to be most likely)--no thanks, I already have many of those recorded from MeTV.

I saw this just yesterday (Friday) on TV Shows On DVD's website, which today is on Facebook, which, thankfully, you also don't have to be a member of, I can't stand Facebook. But they didn't mention any word about these being 22 min. versions, I hope that's not true. If it is, who would buy it if they already have Me TV's broadcasts? I guess folks who never taped it when they had the chance. See, this is what I mean, do not rely on TV to keep showing your favorite shows, record them while you have the chance for tomorrow they may be gone.
