I know, I know-horrible idea but with all these recent re-boots of TV series I wouldn't be surprised if they DID try it.
If so, who would you like to see in some of the roles? I think Kellsey Grammar would be good as Charles and that pretty blond girl who lives across the hall from them on THE BIG BANG THEORY as Hot Lips (I don't know her name as I've never see the show because I don't think it's funny)

What a really bad idea to even suggest. We have way too many remakes as it is, for a classic like M*A*S*H with perfect casting all around to get remade would be especially heinous. And Kaley Cuoco is who you are suggesting for Hot Lips, she would be a huge downgrade from Loretta Swit.

Charles was in his 30's, Grammer will be 65 years old next year! As all fans of the series know MASH has three distinct periods, the carousing years (Blake, Hawkeye, Trap, Frank, Hot Lips, and Radar), the transitional period (Hawkeye, Potter, BJ, Frank and Margaret, and Radar) and what I like to call the MishMASH era (Hawkeye, Potter, BJ, Margaret, Charles and no Radar). Leave well enough alone, the first three years were great, next two were good, after Frank left things went downhill.

Please no!!! It's bad enough we had this terrible depressing show first run, and now it will NEVER go away in reruns on several stations !! The last thing we need is a MASH reboot!!:(

Not a bad idea. Probably would help to move it from Korea to a more recent war, but the concept could still hold up.

I hope you're kidding-a re--boot of MASH would be; like I said a HORRIBLE idea!!!

I wouldn't mind a re-make of the movie however.

One of the shows writers (Ken Levine) did a parody script of a reboot (Basic premise--- everybody's OLD)

A whole series would be overkill but like what they did with All in the Family - a live show - could be very cute.
