Hey Chris, we finally got a little bit of rain over on this side of the state today, which helped the Hayman firefighters out somewhat. It wasn't much but anything is better than nothing. What we really need is a big huge rain cloud to cover the entire state and dump a bunch of rain on all the fires! Originally posted by Charlotte Rae Fan Smells clean around here. I agree, rain smells clean and fresh. I don't know how else to describe it. I love the smell of rain. Yea, I can already see the smoke coming up here from the Durango fire. It was really dark this afternoon. We had a tiny little drizzle that lasted 5 minutes. It was really nothing. Well, time for me to get down to the Rainmaker (Yes we have an actual building like that. I'll take a picture someday) and beg and plead for rain.
