All the black characters represented in the show (i.e.: Hal's friends) supposedly have pretty successful lives (even though we only know one of them is a Dentist)

When a kid at Malcolm's school is said to have two dads, Reese's response to that is "Man that must be a guy's paradise"

Every character in Malcolm's family (except Reese because he is often too clueless to understand things) speaks up for anything immoral and unjust happening.

Whenever you think a joke is going to be "racial", it ends up going in a totally different direction.
