Research from Parrot Analytics shows demand for the Phoebe Waller-Bridge comedy soared this week in a number of English-speaking countries, including the United States, New Zealand, Britain and Canada.

Amazon boss isn't ready to let Fleabag go now that Phoebe Waller-Bridge is signed to a new deal (https://deadline.com/2019/09/fleabag-return-phoebe-waller-bridge-amazon-jennifer-salkes-emmys-1202746072/)

In July, Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke said of Waller-Bridge, "I’m basically her stalker," (https://www.primetimer.com/item/Amazon-boss-jokes-Im-basically-her-stalker-when-asked-if-she-wants-more-of-Phoebe-Waller-Bridges-Fleabag-olSrAm) adding: "Anything Phoebe wants to do, nothing would make us happier to bring another season of her show. Anything she wants to do. I’m forever the optimist.” But that was before Waller-Bridge's Fleabag took home a slew of Emmys, becoming the talk of Sunday's ceremony. That was also before Waller-Bridge agreed to a $20 million-per-year overall deal (https://www.primetimer.com/item/Phoebe-Waller-Bridge-inks-an-overall-deal-with-Amazon-reportedly-worth-20-million-a-year-gASdE9) with Amazon days after the Emmys. On Thursday night, while speaking at the Paley Center, Salke admitted that "people will say I'm in denial" about Fleabag being over. “I’ll have to really know that and see evidence of that before I really buy in,” she said. Salke added: "She probably thinking to herself like ‘geez do I have another story to tell because people really love this.'" Salke said that Waller-Bridge is "a very prolific producer, but she’s not going to do a show just to do a show. She was thinking about a movie, thinking about a show."
