With the news that My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic is gonna air it's finale soon I thought it would be nice to honor My Little Pony by doing commercial research on some My Little Pony commercials. As you know My Little Pony was biggest success of the 80's and grew to be a top selling toy and these commercials that I researched are very important in My Little Pony history,
1. My Little Pony debut commercial,
Some say this My Little Pony commercial circa 1983 is the debut commercial and featured the classic jingle that would be known to My Little Pony fans. This commercial is the first My Little Pony commercial to use Hasbro's girls toys logo which is three ballerinas dancing on the word Hasbro
2. My Little Pony Dream Castle commercial,
This commercial was for the first playset in My Little Pony history called the Dream Castle and is considered the most unique of commercials because it uses some footage from the My Little Pony animated series. Chances are you probably had this toy on your Christmas list for Santa growing up because it was so wonderful
Over the years My Little Pony continued to delight fans with different commercials for their ponies and playsets such as the Say Love slogan and the My Little Pony Mommy jingle from 1987 and the My Little Pony Girls slogan from 1989/1990. As a My Little Pony fan myself i'm sure that these commercials are still a fan favorite to 80's fans everywhere

There were also My Little Pony commercials from 1988 for a new line of little ponies called My Little Pony Petite Ponies that featured a new jingle with the lyrics "you're this little but I love you this big" and a new line called My Little Pony Dream Beauties and what's unique about this commercial is that the intro featured real ponies representing the Dream Beauties walking around a maypole. But the most rare and sought after My Little Pony commercials are a My Little Pony commercial from the 4th year of their release and there is little known about this commercial except it was possibly a marketing commercial Hasbro made for selling the ponies to stores. The commercial featured a blonde actress riding a white horse possibly to represent Megan the human girl who was the ponies friend in the 80's My Little Pony cartoons. The second rare commercial of My Little Pony is one for the So Soft Ponies and is found in two versions one with a girl cuddling a So Soft Pony and another with the same intro but an extended version with added clips of a colt nuzzling it's mother. My Little Pony commercials were so nice in the 80's and it's surprising that the My Little Pony commercials today seem very different than the 80's and 90's ones
