I have liked Disney's A Bug's Life since it came out but as I watched it many times I've noticed scenes that might cause Disney to pull the DVD copies from shelves. In the first scene when the circus bugs are trying to have fun the ladybug Francis gets made fun of and is being bullied by the circus audience then later on when the bugs get fired from the circus they take a break and they sit and talk the same bullies from the circus continue to make fun of Francis and continue to call him mean names Francis gives them a mean look and tells them to stop and the bully circus audience continues. When I have seen these scenes in A Bug's Life I think it sends a poor message to children that bullying and making fun of people is okay but in reality it's not and if a child is bullied they should tell an adult right away. Just like Disney pulled Song Of The South Disney should've thought about children before A Bug's Life was released to theaters and Disney should think about editing the bully scenes or removing them before if they ever decide to rerelease A Bug's Life on DVD
Should Disney remove A Bug's Life from store shelves due to these scenes?
