If you grew up in the 80's you probably remember 7Up's famous commercials starring their famous mascot Spot. Spot was part of a huge expensive deal made by 7Up to make him a superstar in the commercial world. Starting with the Nintendo video game Spot and a huge marketing deal Spot became a huge celebrity for 7Up and was soon featured in other merchandise as well as a second video game Cool Spot for Sega Genesis in 1993 and a sequel Spot Goes To Hollywood. Although no longer seen in 7Up commercials today Spot is remembered as one of 7Up's most successful mascots and appeared in 7Up commercials often being very funny at times
