I was just wondering why everyone hates cheers.
I was also wondering if there are any cheers fans here.

...a long time ago, but it just didn't move me to continue watching it.

I'll admit some of the characters are quite colorful...but maybe it's because I'm really not into the 'bar scene'.

And Ted Danson...don't get me started! Just never cared much for his acting (I'm bein' REALLY nice here) and the vanity thing with his obsession with a perfect 'wig' makes him seem a little silly to me. And the hair he's sportin' now on Becker, makes him look a little like 'Frankenstein'!

Everybody has different tastes. That's why not everyone likes Cheers.

I like the show, but if people don't, that's cool with me.

a large group of the board population doesn't like cheers because some people get mad because it was replaced by fol on n@n...

Maybe if they didn't have the shows on back to back, they would be able to fit everything in that they used to have.

i like cheers but i know ppl who don't and i don't think any less of them and they don't think any less of me

there will be people who hate cheers, and people who love it, and people who will just watch it you know? everyones entitled to their own opinion.. and i really dont think EVERYONE hates cheers because it ran for 11 years and had one of the biggest last episode events in history.. and theres been a lot of good feedback for nickatnite airing it.. now if your talking about here, when i visit alot of other boards, theres alot of younger people that may not just "get" the show.. you gotta be quick with your comebacks and witty.. i can sit down and laugh at each episode.. its all in the humor you have.. and the bittersweet sam and diane thing.. its all in your taste
