Another classic TV sitcom is mounting a comeback. The iconic 1960s comedy "Hogan’s Heroes" is being rebooted by the original series co-creator Al Ruddy, Village Roadshow Entertainment Group, and Rough Pictures.
The reimagined version will be a single-camera action adventure comedy series set in present day focusing on the descendants of the original heroes, now scattered around the world, who team up for a global treasure hunt.

(but I'd better be quiet. I might give someone the idea to actually do it:eek:)

When discussing how to go about creating a game show Mark Goodson said:
“If you can't explain a concept in one sentence, it will never work.”
I read this article three times, I still have no idea what this concept has to do with the original series. Also isn't Al Ruddy a little old to be starting a new project (he'll be 90 in March).

I would’ve loved for the series to have an actual ending. Too bad it was abruptly cancelled. If anything, all I want for them to do is just explain what happened to the Heroes after the war was over, just to give a bit of closure to the series; besides that, a reboot doesn’t sit well with me.
Too many reboots lately. Looks like the networks have finally ran out of ideas.

It sounds kind of like a reality show, more than it does a sitcom.
