Perhaps you may remember LaChoy Chinese Food commercials that appeared in the 60's starring a dragon named Delbert who always had a huge weakness for LaChoy Chinese Food much like Homer Simpson of The Simpsons craving donuts. What people don't realize about these commercials is that Delbert The Dragon was actually created by the late Jim Henson and is one of the most interesting commercials to star a non Muppets character. I didn't know that Jim Henson also created commercials in addition to creating The Muppets. I must admit after researching more info about these commercials I found Delbert The Dragon to be full of humor and really funny and it made me hungry for some Chinese food today. Guess looking at food commercials really makes you hungry because the food is so good does it?

I found the LaChoy commercials to be quite clever and Delbert The Dragon was such an amazing mascot for LaChoy that i'm surprised that Jim Henson didn't choose to give Delbert The Dragon his own show. Now that would've been cute to see
