But an actor should be able to play rich, poor, OR middle class! All she had to do is dress down instead of looking like a porn star! :lol:

TC could've still been successful even if she was Chrissy because the show revolved around Jack Tripper and to a lesser extent the hot blonde. And back then Loni Anderson was even HOTTER than Suzanne so plenty of viewers would've tuned in to see Loni!

That's what I was thinking! Loni seemed too sophisticated to play Cbrissy , she wouldn't have played Chrissy as naive as Suzanne did! ;)

But actors are supposed to be able to play a variety of roles remember? She could've been a secretary in an office just like Chrissy was.

Loni did play a secretary on WKRP but she was in no way the "dumb blonde". Her character, Jennifer, was probably one of the sharpest characters on the show.
