A good channel for FOL. They pretty much air episodes in order. Warm up those VCR's as we don't know how long it's going to be on (Hallmark went on a big spree and bought a ton of sitcoms). This may be a temporary show for the summer or a permanent addition. At any rate, I hope Hallmark gets the ratings/revenue it wants for picking up this little gem.

At that time, there was no chance of it coming to Hallmark. They made a merge type of deal to air it on Hallmark, since Viacom still has it and Viacom is airing it July 7th on TV Land from 3-5p, the Paris episode. As someone previously said, watch/tape it all you can, it could be on only for the summer, since the Paramount sitcoms are coming soon. I expect no skippings.

I just checked the Hallmark website ( www.hallmarkchannelus.com ) and couldn't find anything about it. The schedule hasn't changed for 7/1 to include FOL.

I am happy that The Facts of Life is back on but I don't have the Hallmark Channel I wish that I did though.

It's also available with expanded cable in some area. It used to be the Odyessy Channel until August 2001, it changed to Hallmark Channel that month.

First of all, I feel Heartbroken for those who do not have The Hallmark Channel, and I know this is one of the best show
that ever could produced and I know it is a popular shown and is very passionate show among people.

To answer someone's question from before, yes, the Hallmark Channel does cut a lot out of their shows. I have that channel, and I used to watch it when they had Happy Days on. When I compared what *cough* Nick-at-Nite showed for Happy Days and what the Hallmark Channel showed for Happy Days, I'd have to say Hallmark Channel cut about 5 minutes out of many of the episodes. At least we're getting FOL back.:cool:

Here's a thought... maybe if Hallmark decides to get rid of FOL after a bit (like they've done to shows before), maybe it'll go to TV Land. They did it with Happy Days (sorry, I used to be a big Happy Days fan).

I'm probably the only black sheep in this "hurray, excitement" crowd. What I mean is I'm disappointed with this addition to the Hallmark channel. I like the Hallmark channel but now in my view of things it will be corrupted just as Nick at Nite was. I hope Hallmark will still be the same when FOL debuts. In comparison, Nick at Nite was never the same after FOL was added on there. I hope FOL is on there temporarily for God's sake and for the viewers that are fans of 60's sitcoms. This show should not belong to Hallmark but rather to TNN since "Diff'rent Strokes" (the parent show of FOL) and "Three's Company" is on there or to the Lifetime channel.

I'm not going to go any further in this tragedy but I will say "The Facts of Life" IS the reason why Nick at Nite airs what it airs in today's age.

Haven't you noticed that most of Hallmark's sitcom programming are sitcoms from the sixties? It doesn't make sense why Hallmark is adding "The Facts of Life", an 80's sitcom, to the network. And please - - - Hallmark can add more sixties sitcoms that haven't been seen for ages such as The Addams Family as well as Mister Ed than FOL. Both Addams and Ed have been off the air LONGER the FOL. The Lucy Show has been off the air [nationally] LONGER than FOL. So you see, by adding FOL is just taking up space for rarely-seen 60's sitcoms that have been off the air LONGER than FOL. Besides, I think FOL has done enough damage for it's time.

Look, I really don't care how popular "The Facts of Life" is. "Mork and Mindy" has been off the air for a long time so what do you expect? Of course, there isn't going to be a huge amount of fans
due to the show not airing! Besides, "The Facts of Life" has been aired more recently than "Mork and Mindy". But oh well . . . I guess you don't see that.

That's cool that FOL is coming back. I felt kind of sad for all the FOL fans because of the fact N @ N dropped it so fast. I think fol had the shortest run on the channel. It's too bad some of you don't get Hallmark. Keep your hopes up though, you just may wake up tomorrow and get the channel. Cable companies can be a bit mischief about adding channels.

I don't mean to throw fuel to the fire either. Seriously, I'm not here to start a fight or get anybody pissed off at me. Why would somebody come to a message board for a show they don't like and post stuff? Yeah, I'm having a ditz moment. Those moments are coming more frequently than usual. :(

I'm very sorry that is the way you feel but you have done the same just about. On some of the stuff you said above I really don't agree with but that is okay. I respect it and your point of view. I didn't want this fight to begin with but I guess it just happened. And for everyone involved lets get over this argument because obviously its doing no good at all. To answer that question, To dispose of all of the hate I built up of the show caused by this show, I had to release my anger and frustration out on the show. Afterwards, it makes me feel good and 100 pecent better.
