I lost the channel over a year ago. The channel that replaced it is a channel that airs shows like "Early Edition" and "Medium". Can't think of the channels name

It's also available in the Boston area from what I read, but it's not on our cable package.

DECADES is back and DABL TV is gone!

I must not have been the only person to call & complain...

Decades is slowing returning to all the markets that lost it when the CBS-owned stations dropped Decades last year for the vastly inferior Start TV. All the Fox-owned stations will be adding Decades in the next few weeks (New York, L.A., Atlanta, Phoenix, Dallas, and several more cities), and it returned a few weeks ago to Pittsburgh.

Well not all the Fox-owned stations. Not WTXF in Philadelphia as WDPN a low VHF station already carries it. Unfortunately, it's low VHF (difficult with most antennas) and FIOS doesn't carry it in the market, although Comcast does carry it.

I’m curious what’s happened with the Fox-owned stations and Buzzr, since Fox announced that many of their O&Os would pick up Decades. Buzzr doesn’t appear to be on Fox’s New York station any more.

I wish Boston would get Decades back. Start TV isn’t great, and the new DABL is awful. Who wants to watch old reruns of Emeril or Martha Stewart?

We got Dabl here too on a different channel, thank goodness it didn't replace my Decades. Looking at their website it looks like Dabl has an 8 hour programming block repeated 3 times each weekday, 4 hours of cooking shows, 3 hours of what appears to be lifestyle/talk shows geared towards women and one hour of A&E's Sell This House reruns, which is the one show I like.

On weekends it looks like they have additional house flipping/design shows along with shows about dogs and pets. So it's like this Dabl is an OTA combination of The Food Network, HGTV, Animal Planet, etc.

Ever since I ditched cable TV in 2015 the one channel I've missed the most is HGTV, so I'm liking Dabl for their design and real estate shows, I've enjoyed watching Sell This House this week. I'm hoping this will be a trend, as more and more people drop their cable TV we'll hopefully get more free OTA stations which fill in the void with some of the popular cable TV genres. Would love to see an OTA History channel for instance.

Decades is finally coming back to NYC, but we're still in limbo ("coming soon"). I don't care how long I have to wait. I'm just glad it's back!

That's the problem in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Decades is on 21.2 and all of the "21" stations don't come in for me with a regular indoor antenna. They're low power I think or their transmitter is not across the river in southern Indiana up in the Knobs like the other stations here.

We lost Decades on FIOS in Philly a while back and have Start TV, which isn’t that great IMHO. For a while the Decades site said it was “coming soon” to FIOS, but it no longer does. I know that Comcast still carries it though.

I wish Decades would come back to the Boston area. I hated that it changed over to Start TV because I don’t watch any of the shows on that channel. Never been interested in them. At least with Decades I had something to watch on the weekends with the different marathons of shows that they have each weekend.

Just found out The Jeffersons will now be on Decades Monday-Friday at 5PM with two episodes since Me didn’t have room for it on weekdays. Now I really want this channel back.

Will Decades show up in Buffalo soon? That's one city where it has yet to appear.

It's on WOSC on 61.6. It is a low-power station but with a good antenna it may be possible to receive it beyond the city. I live north of Pittsburgh and have a amplified indoor antenna on the second floor and Decades comes in fine.

Is it, finally?! Thank God!!! I've been waiting for over a year for it to come back to NYC. I even had the "where to watch" page bookmarked so I could click on it every month or so to see when it was coming back! Now I can watch Through the Decades again!!! *does happy dance*
