Why was this episode (http://www.tv.com/shows/its-a-living/a-very-scary-its-a-living-17173/) from the last season originally aired (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_It%27s_a_Living_episodes#Season_6_(1988–1989)) on January 7, 1989 instead of October 1988 (Halloween time)?

I just recorded it as I continue my project making a dvd set of about 80 episodes with commercials perfectly deleted.

I believe it didn't air at halloween because of syndication, just as other holidays were hardly ever mentioned, plus the episode featured more of dots fright of horror movies than halloween.

just glad logo has had such a commitment to the series with season one starting again next week, even though maybe due to some technical complications a few episodes are always skipped, like episode 11 from season 6 which should have aired this morning.

The last sentence of this blog post says Antenna TV is picking up IAL next year:

Maybe they will air the missing episode. Awful long time to wait, though.

I am blown away, stunned that IAL could be coming to Antenna TV, especially after I have been spending countless hours making a 80 episode best of DVD set from the Logo airings.

I would record the missing logo episode(s) but couldn't do this project over, what does annoy me is that my antenna TV has no logos (bugs) on the screen ever and is also full as filmed 4:3 aspect ratio.

Truly though glad a series that was in the missing pile has been revived to much success, I still am shocked Logo airs it so much, almost thought Paul Brownstein (the distributor) was giving it to them for free! LOL

It must have good ratings, since many channels only become interested in a series if it was a success on another channel.
