Sometimes there will be a moral in a film to try and teach the audience something. Some films do it way better than others. Others end up completely contradicting their messages in order to deliver them - sometimes they might be a pro-representation move that ends up being very racist/sexist, or maybe it's preaching against violence despite violence being used to solve all the problems in the movie. What movies spring to mind when it comes to badly delivered aesops?

It should be noted that this isn't about movies with a bad message as it were - for instance, don't put in "it advocates violence" or something like that - I'd like to hear about films that try to deliver a message and yet painfully contradicts itself.

Billy Jack, preaching non violence but still kicking butt. I haven't seen the movie since the 70's but remember Mad magazine bringing this up in their "Billy Jerk" satire
