Funny how Beaver balked at putting on a suit for the football banquet but had no problem dressing up for Marlene coming for dinner, going to a baseball game, going to Penny’s good bye party or going out to dinner in Wally’s new bomb. I bet there are tons more times.

All that trouble just because BMOC Terry wasn't going to dress up. Supposedly.
When Beaver said he was a dopey kid, Ward should have said, Beaver, this is exactly like the sweatshirts. You didn't learn that if you're the one who follows through on something wrong, you're the one who ends up looking foolish.

I guess it’s all about the plot/writers. How can we make Beaver look foolish and teach kids at the same time?

It was because in the football banquet episode, peer pressure was involved.

That was so funny and so mean. I saw that coming a mile away, but I still felt bad for him. He really needs new friends b/c he keeps falling to their pranks and he's always the one who gets into trouble.
