I think it would have been better to ask Mr. Jeff to stay the weekend with the boys!! Only kidding! Mr. Jeff might have been a great cook after washing hands.

Having Mr. Jeff stay with the boys...that would be interesting! Like they need anyone to stay anyway. Scrabjan1 08-30-2019, 08:26 AM I guess if they let Beaver and Wally stay home alone the writers could have thought up some mischief to get into. I can’t think of what though. Love how they show Ward going golfing and leaving June in the room. Sounds like Ward had a ball fishing and golfing and June just hung out. stevea 08-30-2019, 08:34 AM We know she gets a kick out of relining the kitchen cabinets. Scrabjan1 08-30-2019, 09:32 AM LOL!! stevea 08-30-2019, 01:04 PM I guess if they let Beaver and Wally stay home alone the writers could have thought up some mischief to get into. I can’t think of what though. Wally decides to try another date with Marlene, and Beaver is alone. Gilbert comes over, and later there is a knock on the door. Andy Hadlock has returned and convinces Beaver that Ward has OK'd it for him to do some more trim painting, but this time inside. Andy's upstairs and Beaver and Gilbert decide to watch a horror movie. They hear water running upstairs. Both run upstairs and it's coming from Ward and June's bathroom, and the door is closed. "Oh, no, not again! I'm goin' home." Gilbert exclaims. He runs out as usual. "Andy!" Beaver yells. "What's goin' on? You're s'posed to be painting." "Beaver, I couldn't resist. It's been awhile since I've soaked in a tub." "I could tell. But Mom and Dad'll be home in awhile. I feel like...well, it's hard to explain. I'm livin' through somethin' again, only it's you. But you gotta get outta there." "it's even worse, Beaver. I never talked to your dad about painting the inside trim. But it'll prob'ly be OK, 'cause I haven't done much painting." "Oh, boy, will I ever learn?" Beaver mumbles to himself. Wally comes in and asks Beaver what's going on. Beaver explains. "This again?" Wally asks. "You smell like cigarettes. Where've you been?" "It's none o' your business, but since your'e in big trouble I'll tell you. Marlene and I were at Hank's Place." "Oh man, you think I'm in trouble?" YOU'RE in trouble." "Could somebody hand me a towel? And some other clothes would be nice, too." "Uh oh." Beaver says. "We're both in for it. I think I hear a car and I'll bet it's Mom and Dad." Scrabjan1 08-31-2019, 07:36 AM That would have been some kind of funny!! |
