Wow, it's been 40 years already? Happy Anniversary! In 10 years, for the 50th anniversary, I want to see a Facts of Life reunion with every main cast member (yes, that means first season girls) and recurring cast members. We don't need another movie, a TV special would be nice, like on Netflix or YouTube (if those platforms still exist in 10 years).

I would LOVE that!

We could get an update on Julie Anne... I know she's had a son since she was last interviewed in 2006. We could hear from Pamela Adlon and find out what new, exciting projects she's working on. We could have tributes to all the cast members who have sadly passed on (Charlotte, John, Hugh, etc.). We could learn more about Felice's political activism, and (now with Molly speaking openly about her FOL years) Molly's political activism.

We could get behind-the-scenes footage, cast commentaries on episodes, deleted scenes, interviews from writers, and maybe even some scripts!

"John"?? You just made me Google, but John Lawlor is still alive! But Roger Perry, a.k.a. headmaster "Mr. Parker", isn't.

Yeah, sorry. I know Roger's passed on, not John.

Yeah, don't rush him anywhere yet, lol. ;)

I wanted to make a thread specifically referencing the 40th anniversary in the thread's title, thinking it would alert more board viewers and garner more discussion/memories from fans of the show. But looks like it didn't happen. Oh, well. :)

There's still time. A whole year, in fact. :)

I think my favorite personal memory was Tootie's red raincoat from Season One. Never forget that.
