The ninth and final season premeire of Homicide Hunter will be broadcast this coming Wednesday at 9:00 pm (EST) on Investigation Discovery. John Kenda recently announced that it would be the last season, as he is running so low on TV-approved cases that the number of those remaining would be insufficient to sustain the series any further. Many other cases he investigated are, in his words, "too simple or simply too disgusting" for television. Plus, he wishes to end the series while he is at the top of his game.

Although Homicide Hunter is ending its run, Kenda will still be working for Invetigation Discovery. He will be doing new projects for them. Stay tuned.
