In 1987 the classic song by the 60's band The Turtles Happy Together was used as the slogan and jingle for Golden Grahams cereal. The commercial features a parody version of Happy Together sung all about Golden Grahams and has been found in a second version of the commercial released in 1989. I often wonder if General Mills asked The Turtles for permission to write a parody of Happy Together when this commercial aired in 1987
