What I mean is that she had her own sitcom in Angie, which ran on ABC for two seasons. While it didn't do well, it at the time appeared that she would land on her feet somewhere. Instead, while she’s had small roles over the past few decades (it seems like outside of Angie, Donna Pescow is mostly known for her mom roles on Out of This World and Even Stevens), she was nowhere near as successful as her early career seemed to promise.

Success leads to other opportunities so since she wasn't well know and didnt' have a lot of screen time she probably didn't have many offers. I mean if Sally Struthers didnt have success after being one of the main characters on a hit show then how would donna have success if she had failed projects?
