I noticed a new commercial for Life Cereal that makes me think that Quaker has revived the classic Life Cereal Commercial with the Mikey Likes It slogan for a new generation. In the new version of the commercial a little girl is seen eating Life Cereal with her father and the father tells her the classic line "She Likes It "Hey Mikey." I find it odd that the role of Mikey is now played by a little girl and the father has a role in the commercial when in commercials the whole family was often seen. This is an odd commercial and Quaker should've made this new Life Cereal commercial very much like the original commercial with a little boy playing Mikey rather than making this commercial
What was Quaker thinking when they made this commercial?

Hi,Bestie! I have not seen this commercial yet. But Life Cereal has remade the Mikey commercial a few times already. So I think they are just trying to do it again. I agree that a little girl named Mikey is weird though.
