By this, I mean movies that change tone in such a sudden and jarring way (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/MoodWhiplash/Film) that it seems very off. Like a serious and grim film suddenly turning into some comedy in the most inappropriate of times and a comedy suddenly becoming serious about issues despite of doing comedy with those issues.
