METV is sure running commercials announcing The Flintstones METV debut and I think METV is hoping and praying that this is a welcome addition to their lineup judging how much promotion they've put into announcing The Flintstones METV debut and there was even a cute banner with Dino mentioning it's METV debut. By the way it appears that The Flintstones will replace though
"I'm not entirely sure yet" The Jeffersons but METV does not list if a second episode will follow when it makes it's September 30th METV debut

One more week till The Flintstones makes it's METV debut next Monday and I can guarantee you that the ratings for METV will go sky high due to the debut of The Flintstones because it will be so cool to see a cartoon that's so great to watch. When The Flintstones makes it's METV debut today is it gonna be shown on METV every day or is it just Mondays only? Also is it gonna be double episodes back to back as well? I'm just curious to know because I know MASH comes on after The Jeffersons so is The Flintstones replacing MASH on METV too?

The Flintstones will be on everyday with double episodes back to back. MASH will not be replaced.

After much waiting for so long the much anticipated debut of The Flintstones happened today and Mom and I were so happy to see The Flintstones and I can see that this cartoon is a perfect fit that fits METV like a glove. I was shocked that METV was gonna start with the color episodes of The Flintstones rather than the black and white version but after seeing these episodes it's great that The Flintstones has a new home on METV so that new cartoon fans can see a classic cartoon. Maybe based on how successful The Flintstones will be METV will also think about adding Scooby-Doo or Yogi Bear next wouldn't that be amazing as well?

Hi, Bestie! I saw the Flintstones on METV too! I am glad they were smart enough to put them on METV. Now if they would only pair them with the Jetsons! But for now, I will be happy with the Flintstones. Any episodes you hope they show? My favorite is when Fred dresses up lke a burglar, but then a real burglar shows up.

It appears that they may be skipping that episode because of the grossly caricatured Japanese judo instructor.

Thanks for the info--I was checking on episodes and I immediately wondered why they skipped this one.

It'd be nice to see these guest voices (Gray Granite, the movie director, etc.) in the credits, but these are generic, re-created credits, the same for every episode.

The real credits (for the first two seasons) are with the black and white original episodes, and heaven knows what happened to them.
