The new TV season for the broadcast networks starts in a little over a month. Time to pick the first full season orders, renewals, rookie cancellations, and veteran cancellations/endings that have not been announced yet. Fall schedules for all five networks are stickied at the top of the General Sitcoms board.
ABC- May they have their worst season ever after screwing over TKAA. That show deserved nurturing like The Middle got.
First full season- Mixed-Ish
First renewal- Stumptown
First rookie cancellation- Emergence
First veteran cancellation- I believe Fresh Off the Boat has already been announced as a final season. Single Parents and Bless This Mess will both be cancelled at the end of season 2 after ABC realizes what a horrible mistake they made picking them over TKAA.
CBS- lousy move not putting FBI: Most Wanted on the fall schedule instead of the two new dramas that ended up there
First full season- Carol's Second Act
First renewal- Bob Hearts Abishola
First rookie cancellation- The Unicorn. This will be a disaster as the first post Young Sheldon show at 8:30. And while shows don't usually get pulled early any more, with Man With a Plan and Broke waiting, The Unicorn could be the first overall cancellation of the new season.
First veteran cancellation- MacGyver
CW
First full season- Batwoman
First renewal- Batwoman
First rookie cancellation- All three new dramas during the season will get renewed. Too bad the CW didn't have this renew everything policy yet the year Frequency aired.
First veteran cancellation- Dynasty
FOX
First full season- Bless the Harts
First renewal- Prodigal Son
First rookie cancellation- Not Just Me
First veteran cancellation- So You Think You Can Dance
NBC- underwhelming fall schedule, Lincoln and Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist sound more interesting than any of the fall premieres.
First full season- Perfect Harmony
First renewal- Bluff City Law
First rookie cancellation- Sunnyside
First veteran cancellation- Good Girls
