DVD on DVD is still alive and kicking!

For the first time in many, many months, the Dick Van Dyke Show website has been updated with the news that they are working on getting the DVD's out by Christmas of this year!

Visit DVD on DVD (http://www.dickvandykeshow.com/news1.htm) to get the info first hand. And everyone keep their fingers crossed!

Sorry B&W fan! I think it's great that the DVD will come out. But don't feel too bad, I posted about Season 1 of MTM on DVD being availible through Amazon, and nobody replied to me either!

Thanks Kristen. I didn't know about the MTM 1st season being out on DVD! That's my favorite season of the show, so I'm gonna hop right over to Amazon and check that out!

As for the DVD on DVD news, I just thought a couple of regulars here would jump in and say "Great news" or something.

You're right, B&W Fan. It is great news! I've been talking to everyone I know who is also a fan about the release, and I thank you for posting it here, which is where I first found out about it.
Maybe we are all just a little sceptical still, and with good reason. I know that personally, I can't wait to own a complete set, uncut and uninterrupted. I have to wonder however, if this is yet another "maybe" from the producers. I logged onto the official sight, and they didn't seem definitely certain of the release date.
Your post is well recieved, I'm sure, and much appreciated. Unfortunately, we'll have to see if indeed there is follow through from those with authority .;)

Steve,

I fully understand your feelings of scepticism about the DVD's coming out. Others, along with myself, have posted about this very issue before. If it doesn't happen, I won't be suprised. Disappointed beyond belief, yes. Suprised, no.

I have to convince my parents to buy a DVD player now!!! Unedited versions of MTM & DVD!! How exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing them, since I've only seen the syndicated versions on cable.
