I watched one of these episodes the other night. Didn't tape them on purpose but rather my DVR taped it because of Hailey Mills. I liked her as a teacher but it was crazy how different the show became when they added Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffany Amber Theiessen.

I heard somewhere that Heather Hopper was supposed to return for Saved by the Bell, but was let go after her mother demanded a bigger pay cut or something like that. Can anyone verify this?

As for Max Battimo, there seems to be no apparent reason. Maybe they thought Mario Lopez was a better fit, so they replaced Mikey with Slater.

Not quite, TVFactFan. You might think why they have their own idea, but it turns out it was too soonly hurried to include him on the first place. Not only he’s considered dangerously difficult to his cast mates, his cast mates are also dangerously difficult to him, at the same time. Plus, did you noticed right now, that there have to many multiple discrimination fraud incident types occurring in original crew member group, especially the bad relationship between Engel and Bobrick recently also?

I do not know what Miss Hopper is doing right now but I am glad Mr. Battimo is doing well now

I couldn't imagine Saved by the Bell without Screech, to honest. Even though the new reboot series won't have him.

It's actually a little surprising that GMMB was repackaged as SBTB, but even with the inconsistencies that developed due to the repackaging, those short expository scenes with Zach helped.

I did miss Nikki and Mikey. It would have been cool if they could have been brought back occasionally, ala the Lost Girls on The Facts of Life. But this was never a series that cared about character continuity.

Not just the Indiana/California inconsistency, but also the fact that half the cast is missing, and no-one even notices. Wouldn't it have been cool for them to at least refer to Miss Bliss (since other teachers are mentioned), or occasionally see or refer to Mikey or Nikki? Once they packaged GMMB as SBTB episodes, they had to know that some viewers would wonder what had happened to the missing characters.

I have met Heather after she performed at a show and she had a meet and greet after the show 3 years ago and I asked her what happened after Good Morning Miss Bliss and she told me that she wanted a bigger paycheck but producers said no so they let her go, it is a shame but Heather is really sweet and seems to be doing better after her eating disorder since she was a teenager so I am glad she is doing well now

I have no idea but if I have to guess, they did not think he would fit in the show but they brought Slater in who is almost like Max which does not make any sense

Yeah, Slater was a basically a more ripped Mikey. Maybe the replacement was intentional.
